About Our Residential Crack Sealing Service

Does rain affect the sealant?

To be short the rain can affect the Sealcoating in the following cases: - If it rained just before we arrived. We can’t seal wet driveway, but in case if there would be no rain in the next 4 hours, we will just dry up the driveway with leaf blower and a torch - If it rains while we are working. In this case we will have to reschedule the job to other day / time. - If it rains within 2 hours upon the job completion. If it rains after 2+ hours, it will not affect the work. We are constantly monitoring the weather, and keeping an eye on it!

How many coats of material do you apply?

Our standard driveway sealing service includes 2-coatings applied overhead. This means that each part of the asphalt will be sprayed twice. First line of coating is applied as the technician sprays the driveway while moving from left side to the right side. Second line is applied right on top of the first one, as the technician will go backwards from right to left. That way we ensure that each part of the driveway will get a proper amount of sealant, and that your driveway will stay black and protected for at least 2 years.

How long before I can park my cars on my driveway after it was sealed?

It really depends on the current weather and temperature. The rule of thumb is that during the Summer, it only takes around 12-hours to dry, during Spring and Fall months we recommend to wait for 24 hours.

Which type of sealant are you using?

We use Premium Oil-Base (Bitumen-Base) sealant material, which is made from the same tar (Bitumen a.k.a. Asphalt) that your driveway was made of. When our material is sprayed on the asphalt, it creates a protective membrane that protects your driveway from environmental damages and makes the pavement waterproof, by sealing smaller cracks and cavities on the surface, which is extremely important before winter season.

How long does your material last?

<p>Our premium oil-based sealant lasts up to 3-years. Most of our customers reseal their driveways with us every three-years, which gives us confidence in the durability of our material!</p>
